A clearer shortlist.
A defined
research brief.
Give VNC your acquisition criteria. The pilot covers up to 30 researched companies and up to 5 deeper profiles, with source references, fit assessments, and clear information gaps.
Pilot Parameters
A useful search
starts with a clear brief.
Your internal teams are focused on operating your core business or executing live transactions. Expecting them to simultaneously run structured top-of-funnel research stretches resources and delays strategy.
Fragmented Information
Company information is spread across websites, announcements, registries, and directories. A structured review puts relevant findings in one place.
Inconsistent Screening
Consistent qualification questions help your team compare companies and identify where the available evidence is insufficient.
Limited Visibility
A leadership biography does not establish ownership. We review available ownership evidence and flag unresolved control structures.
Missing Financials
Revenue and EBITDA may be unavailable from public sources. We label sourced indicators and estimates clearly, and leave unsupported figures unknown.
A defined research process.
A defined process for turning your acquisition criteria into a source-linked research package within 10 business days after scope, information, and payment confirmation.
Research Brief
You define the exact parameters: sector, geography, size, and strategic intent using our structured qualification form.
Scope Confirmation
We review the submitted mandate for scope and feasibility. If the mandate is suitable, we confirm the research scope and next steps.
Research Phase
We review available public sources, map the agreed company universe, and screen against your inclusion criteria and exclusions.
Deeper Profiles
We prepare up to 5 deeper profiles explaining company fit, the supporting sources, and questions for further diligence.
Delivery
You receive the company list, up to 5 deeper profiles, and source references within the agreed delivery window. One correction round checks the package against the written scope.

The fixed-scope sprint.
A defined professional research package providing a structured, source-linked shortlist of potential targets with screening information, confidence labels, and known limitations.
One agreed brief. Scope, acceptance criteria, payment terms, and delivery date confirmed in writing before work starts. A narrow market or limited public evidence may produce fewer qualifying companies than the maximum.

Scope Boundaries:
This pilot provides factual company research for a fixed fee. Buyers and their advisers handle seller outreach and transactions. The scope excludes:
- - Seller solicitation, introductions, or owner access
- - Private financial records or confirmation of seller intent
- - Negotiations, capital raising, or transaction execution
- - Handling transaction funds or success-fee arrangements
A researched company is not necessarily for sale. Seller willingness, private financials, and transaction readiness require separate verification.
